Ada Verloren's interest in Employment and Labor Law escalated when she attended law school in South Africa, and remained the focus of her studies for both the LL.M. degree at the University of Notre Dame and the Ph.D. degree at University College London. She has worked as a prehearing attorney at the Michigan Court of Appeals, as a Professional Specialist at the University of Notre Dame Law School's Center for Civil and Human Rights, and as a Law Clerk at Michigan Migrant Legal Assistance Project. As pro bono attorney, she has successfully represented an asylum seeker in the United States Immigration Court.
